WELCOME!
WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE

We are a group of believers who simply try to follow the Bible as a guide for all we do. Everything done in our worship service is something for which we have a Bible basis. You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you wish. We will sing hymns together and we will observe the Lord's Supper or Communion together. We will also have an opportunity to give to the work of God in this area. This collection is for the members here, and if you are visiting you should not feel and pressure to give. Our lesson time will be divided into two groups. The young children will go to our classroom area in the basement where they will be taught the Bible at a level they can understand. The adults will stay in the auditorium for a lesson at an adult level. We do try to serve the community, and if you have some needs that we can help you with, mention it to one of the members. Thank you for worshipping with us.

BIG PLANS FOR NEXT WEEKEND

A week from today you will get to hear one of the ten talent men in our brotherhood. Willie Franklin is not only an excellent speaker, but he comes from a very unusual background. Having been a successful football player in college and the NFL, he knows what it is to have success and to leave that success prematurely to more effectively serve God. Willie and I have worked together from time to time, most recently in Iowa where we did a youth rally together. He is here primarily to speak to the young people of the area which he will do at 11:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, but everyone is invited to come.

We have no way of knowing how many of our sister congregations will participate in this effort, but they have all been invited. On Saturday we will have a lunch for the young people and we will have activities between Willie's sessions to let the young people enjoy being with each other as well as enjoying some games and activities together. The program should end around 4:00 P.M.

Next Sunday at our normal Bible study hour of 10:00 A.M. Willie will teach a class to the congregation. He will also speak at our 11:00 A.M. worship time and Sunday evening at 6:00 P.M. Those of you who do not regularly make it to our class time are encouraged to make a special effort to come and listen to Willie's presentation. After the morning worship we will have a special potluck for Willie and our visitors. Bring a dish to supplement the left overs from Saturday, and plan to stay.

Samantha Wheeler has been in charge of this project, and we appreciate the time and effort she has put into putting this together. We are going to need helpers for the Saturday program. We need people to get and prepare sandwich materials, ice, salad, cookies, and finger food items. We will need people to take care of activity items.

We need people to set up tables and to clean up after the youth program. Please sign up on the sheet so we know who is doing what. Let us join hands and make this next weekend special!
