FAMILY NEWSSUNDAY NIGHT SERVICE begins tonight at 6:00 P.M. I. IGNORANCE OF THE MEDICAL FACTS
A. The history of science and religion - vaccinations - smallpox, measles, polio, fruit and animals.
B. Science is a friend of faith, not an adversary.
II. IGNORANCE OF HOW GOD WORKS.
A. God never usurps the free choice of humans — Joshua 6:1-20; Acts 2:38-40; 2 Peter 3:9
B. We are given solutions to all affliction by God.
III. IGNORANCE OF THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST
A. Luke 5:4-9, 12-13 — Every miracle of Jesus had a purpose. Spiritual is more important than physical.

IV. IGNORANCE OF WHAT THE CHURCH IS

IV. WHY ARE YOU HERE?THE BACK PAGEFAITH VERSUS FEARSatan has used the ignorance of mankind to frighten people. Christians need to understand what is going on and not be misled into a belief system that causes illness and death. Throughout history people have reacted with fear and misinformation to the unknown, and have often rejected science. Science is knowledge, and knowledge and wisdom come from God. Read Proverbs 8: “To you, mankind, I wisdom call out. You who are simple, gain good judgment. You who are foolish, gain understanding. Listen, for I have worthy things to say. I open my lips to speak what is right. My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness … ” (Proverbs 8:4-7). This passage goes on to talk about God's wisdom. Science is simply an understanding of what God has given mankind and how man can use what God has given to solve his problems. The ways of preventing the spread of leprosy in biblical times were provided by God. Humans implemented what God provided. Read the instructions to Israel about leprosy in Leviticus 13-14. These tools that God provided stopped the spread of leprosy. Quarantine was part of that process. Religious ignorance and atheistic beliefs have caused the death of scores of people in this country. My son Tim died because a caregiver refused to follow the instructions of science about wearing masks and practicing social distancing. People who reject what God has given us through science have reason to fear. Those who trust what God has given us do not. It is important to understand that we cannot trust what anyone says without checking out the qualifications of who said it. The example in today's lesson is a good demonstration of that fact. How many people will die because of Greg Locke's preaching? He has over 100,000 people who have gone to his website and are affected by it.
